Product safety & disclaimer

Please read this before using any CATLINPH product. It explains what our products are, how to use them safely, and the limits of what they're for.

1 — Consumer products only, not a repair service

CATLINPH sells consumer drain-care products and hand tools only. We do not provide plumbing repair, installation or maintenance services, and our products are not a substitute for a licensed plumber. For any situation beyond a routine household clog — multiple fixtures backing up, recurring blockages, sewage smells, pressurised lines or sewer mains — stop and consult a qualified professional.

2 — Enzyme drain powder & beads

The Enzyme Drain Cleaner Powder is enzyme-based, non-corrosive, non-toxic and biodegradable, and is septic-safe. It contains no acids, alkalis or harsh chemicals. Keep out of reach of children (P102). Do not ingest. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse with water. Follow the label and any supplied Safety Data Sheet. The Deodorizer Beads are for drain deodorising only — keep away from children and do not ingest.

3 — Mechanical tools & sharp edges

Our augers, snakes, plungers, brushes and grabbers are manual tools. Some have coiled cables, barbs or sharp edges — handle with care, wear the gloves provided where relevant, and keep tools away from children. Read the instructions before first use and operate each tool only for its intended household purpose.

4 — Liability & your statutory rights

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any product is limited to the price you paid for it. This does not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything that cannot be excluded by law — and it does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

5 — What we do not sell or support

We do not sell acid- or alkali-based drain products, gas, pressurised or power-driven drain machines, or any electrical drain-clearing equipment. Never use our tools on gas, pressurised or electrical systems. Our products are for everyday household drains only.

Using our products safely

Every product ships with its own instructions and safety guidance — please follow them. Our Unblock Guide shows how to choose and use the right tool for common clogs, and stresses starting gently, escalating slowly and stopping if something isn't working.

If you're ever unsure
